Spirit Cabins are known for their premium quality and simplicity, especially when it comes to finishing the cabin on site. We complete 90% to 95% of the construction processes at the factory leaving you with very little to do after your new log home or cabin arrives. Most of the on-site finish work can be completed by someone with average contracting/carpentry skills and the appropriate power tools. Some of the processes do require a professional contractor to complete in compliance with local code.
With a “Shell Only” Log Home or Cabin and with the upper level of our two-story Modular Log Homes, finish processes may include, and are not limited to: framing interior walls, running plumbing and electrical, finishing interior walls, floors and ceilings, and hanging interior doors. Finish processes for a folding roof system also include framing and finishing the gable ends, to include the exterior siding and any exterior doors or windows per your design.
This work is very comparable to finishing a basement and the majority of it can be completed by someone with average contracting/carpentry skills and the appropriate power tools, subject to code requirements.*
